Data Protection Systems
Access to web pages and files of our website. Each time a user accesses a page of our website and each time a file is retrieved, data about this process is automatically stored and processed in a log file on our web server. In detail, the following data is stored for each access or retrieval: • IP address of the requesting computer • date and time of the request • page accessed/name of the file retrieved • amount of data transferred • message whether the access/retrieval was successful • internet address from which the page or file was retrieved or the requested function was initiated • web browser used The data mentioned above, including the IP address, is stored for the duration of the communication process in order to enable the use of our website. In addition, the IP address is stored for a short period to ensure IT security, in particular to protect our IT systems against misuse and to defend against attacks. We reserve the right to evaluate the data in anonymized form for statistical purposes and to improve our website.

Registration for Our Newsletters
If you register for a newsletter offered by us, we collect and store your email address. We use the email address you provided for registration insofar as this is necessary for sending the newsletter and for canceling the registration. After the registration is canceled, we delete the stored email address. We do not pass it on to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so. Insofar as we offer the option of providing further data during registration, providing this data is voluntary.
Contact Forms and Emails
When you use our contact form and send emails to us, we store your details, including your email address, insofar as we need this data to answer your message. If you send us a message via the contact form or by email unencrypted, the message is not protected against unauthorized access or alteration by third parties during transmission.
Hosting (Vercel)
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. The server functions of the website run in a data center in Frankfurt am Main, Germany; static content is delivered via Vercel's global network. In doing so, Vercel processes the access data listed above under “Access to web pages and files of our website”, including the IP address. A transfer of data to the USA cannot be ruled out. We store order, account and client engagement data (e.g. name, address, email address, details of your case and documents you upload) as well as the content of the AI-powered applications in a database of the provider Neon, Inc. Privacy Settings (Cookie Banner)
On your first visit, we show a notice where you make your choice for the categories statistics (Google Analytics), marketing (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising) and live chat (Smartsupp). We store your choice for 12 months in the cookie “r247_consent”. You can change it at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. As long as you have not made a choice, statistics and marketing are active and live chat is not. If you select “Decline”, these services are no longer loaded and the related cookies are deleted. We set technically necessary cookies for logging in to your customer account, the ordering process and the language selection regardless of this choice.
Google Ads (Conversion Tracking)
We use Google Ads by Google Ireland Limited, Ireland, to measure the success of our ads. For this purpose, Google sets cookies and records whether you came to our website via an ad and whether you completed an order. When you place an order, we transmit your email address only in hashed form (SHA-256) so that Google can attribute the order to an ad (enhanced conversions). We remove order links and payment identifiers from the page address before transmission. A transfer of data to Google LLC in the USA cannot be ruled out. We use the conversion tracking (Universal Event Tracking) of Microsoft Advertising by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland. Live Chat (Smartsupp)
For the live chat, we use Smartsupp by Smartsupp.com, s.r.o., Brno, Czech Republic. The chat is only loaded if you consent to the live chat category in the privacy settings. Smartsupp then processes the content of your chat messages, the data you provide in the chat and technical data such as IP address and browser, and sets cookies for this purpose. Payment Processing (Stripe, PayPal)
We process payments in our checkout via the payment service Stripe by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland. Your browser passes your payment data (e.g. card details) directly to Stripe; we do not store full card details. Stripe also receives the name, email address, billing address and amount of the order. Depending on the payment method you choose (e.g. credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or Link), data is also passed on to the respective provider. A transfer of data to Stripe, Inc. in the USA cannot be ruled out. Some subscriptions that you took out via PayPal in our former online shop continue to be billed via PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg. Sending Emails (Brevo, Microsoft 365)
We send emails about your order and your customer account (e.g. order confirmation, invoice, login link) as well as the confirmation email for newsletter registration via Brevo by Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France. For this purpose, Brevo processes your email address, your name and the content of the email. We forward the details you provide in our forms to the law firm's mailboxes for processing. These run on Microsoft 365 by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland. Newsletter and Client Information (ActiveCampaign)
To send our newsletter and our client information, we use ActiveCampaign by ActiveCampaign, LLC, USA. After you confirm your newsletter registration (double opt-in) and after an order, we transmit your email address, your name, your phone number if provided and the service booked to ActiveCampaign. In doing so, data is transferred to the USA. You can object to receiving these emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or at service@recht24-7.de. Address Autocomplete in the Checkout (Google Places)
When you enter your address in the checkout, we suggest matching addresses via the Places API of Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. AI-Powered Applications (Microsoft Azure)
Your input in the AI-powered applications and the text of documents you upload there are transmitted to language models that we use via Microsoft Azure (Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry) by Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, Ireland, in order to generate the answers. The Azure resource we use is located in the Sweden region. Depending on the model selected, processing takes place in data centers within the EU or also outside the EU. For functions with web search (e.g. case law research), search queries are carried out via Microsoft's Bing search service. Of uploaded files, we store only the extracted text, not the original file.
